Proof That Jay Z Has Taken A Sip Of Beyoncé’s 'Lemonade' And He Likes It

When life gave Jay Z "Lemonade," he stayed quiet -- until now, that is.

In the new remix for his track "All the Way Up" (featuring Fat Joe and Remy Ma) Jay gives his wife Beyoncé's epic visual album a little shout-out, proving that he's had a sip, and he likes it -- despite the fact she seemingly dragged him through the mud in her lyrics.

"You know you made it when the fact / Your marriage made it is worth millions / Lemonade is a popular drink and it still is," Jay raps. (You can listen to a 30-second snippet below.)

In the track, the rapper also name-drops Prince, whose musical catalog is available on his streaming service, Tidal.

"Prince left his masters where they safe and sound / We never gonna let the elevator take him down," Jay says.

The line could be a reference to the site of Prince's untimely death -- he was found in an elevator at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota -- or, as pointed out by a commenter, a nod to the singer's "Let's Go Crazy." Still, we're sure someone out there in the corners of the Internet will be making a connection to that infamous elevator incident involving one Solange Knowles.

Or maybe Jay has that saved for another song. We can only hope.
