In the world of smart beds, almost anything is possible.
In the video above, CBS News checks out the latest in futuristic mattresses. Smart bed price tags can be steep -- anywhere from $1,500 to $4,000 depending on the features, CBS reported. But the souped-up pads come with a lot more than coils and foam.
The OHEA Smart Bed actually makes itself with the touch of a button. Unfortunately this one's just a prototype and not available to customers. The Smarttress claims it can catch cheating bedfellows with sensors embedded on the mattress surface that can detect movement and alert you via text. And the Sleep Number Sleep IQ Kids lets kids check for supernatural creatures.
But experts say you don't need expensive mattresses to get good sleep. They do recommend replacing your mattress before it gets too old and making sure your mattress feels comfortable to you.
"The mattress that your neighbor raves about may not be the mattress you rave about,” Terry Cralle, a certified clinical sleep educator and author of Sleeping Your Way To The Top, previously told The Huffington Post.
