Celebrities React To Bastille Day Attack With Powerful Pleas To Stop The Killing

In the wake of the devastating terrorist attack in Nice, France, during a Bastille Day celebration on Thursday night, the world has once again come together to mourn those touched by the tragedy.

Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Amy Schumer and numerous other celebrities expressed an outpouring of grief and shock on social media to offer condolences to the victims of the attack, which claimed the lives of 84 people and injured over 200 in the midst of one driver’s mile-long rampage.

β€œI am praying for you France,” Gaga wrote after news of the attack broke. β€œWhen u open your eyes and see chaos, we will close our eyes and see harmony. We are with you.”

Kardashian also weighed in on the tragic events, sending her thoughts and prayers to the French city.

β€œFinally home & seeing the news,” the reality TV star tweeted. β€œMy heart goes out to everyone in Nice. Lots of prayers being sent your way. God the world needs you .”

Miley Cyrus Instagrammed a photo of the French flag inside a heart, alongside an impassioned plea to find more peace and understanding amid the chaos.
