This Reddit Grandpa Has The Answers To All Of Life's Questions

Just don't call him adorable.

A 90-year-old retiree is quickly becoming the internet’s favorite grandpa thanks to his popular Reddit “Ask Me Anything” posts. Now, Roland John “Ron” Lehker is back for what he says will be his final round of answers to your burning questions about what it’s like to be pushing 100. Just don’t call him adorable.

Though Lehker insists he doesn’t “keep up” with technology, he’s likely one of the oldest users on the popular social media posting site. He says his grandkids help keep him “in the loop.” In an interview with The Washington Post earlier this year, Lehker said it was his grandson, Jake DeBacher, who has helped him out with his blogs (yes, he has two) and Reddit.

The father of four and grandfather of nine took to Reddit just yesterday for what he says will be his final AMA and he’s already gotten over 2,300 comments. He says he plans to take his time carefully answering every question thanks to his dictation device. Here’s some of the best advice a 90-year-old has for the young folks on the internet.

His advice to younger people:

On the technology that blows his mind:

On the most important thing in life:

On older people being called “adorable”:

On sexuality when you’re older:

On death, the future and the most important thing you can do with your life:

On what it’s really like to be “old”:

Older really is wiser.
