Former Notre Dame football coach and ESPN analyst Lou Holtz was photographed carrying a bottle of Crown Royal on Monday at the Republican National Convention, outlets pointed out.
We don’t know why exactly he was toting the hooch, but we can guess: Keeping the sauce handy in case the speeches were lacking? Getting his happy hours confused? Or simply messing with us?

Holtz, 79, endorsed Donald Trump back in May. Not that he would, but he could save that bottle until the November election, when he can either drown his sorrows or celebrate.
