If Donald Trump hasn’t given Fusion anchor Jorge Ramos an interview, it’s not because the presumptive Republican nominee doesn’t know how to reach him.
Monday evening, during a live broadcast from the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, Ramos revealed a letter from Donald J. Trump had recently been delivered to his home address. The envelope was labeled “personal.”
“And I don’t know exactly how, but he got the address – my home address,” Ramos explained to his co-host, Fusion’s own Alicia Menendez. “As you remember, when I requested an interview with him, I gave him my cellphone number, he published it on the internet. So I was wondering, maybe he’s answering my request for an interview.” Spoiler: He wasn’t.
“He sent me a bumper sticker. And not only that, but he’s asking for money,” Ramos said.
Though Ramos, who is a registered Independent, declined to donate to Trump’s campaign, he did offer, yet again, to interview the contentious candidate. “Mr. Trump, you have my number. You have my address. And if you want to give us an interview, you know exactly where I am.”
As for Trump’s letter, Ramos said, thanks, but no thanks.
