Why Is The 'Gay Lifestyle' So Tiring?

A controversial web series finds out.

For years, the term “gay lifestyle” has infiltrated discussions of the LGBT community. In the first installment of the nine-part Indonesian web series “Conq,” two friends ― Lukas and Timo ― break down gay stereotypes, and examine with the “lifestyle” means to them.

The series itself has faced numerous obstacles. In September 2015, creator Lucky Kuswandi was reportedly forced to take segments of the series off of social media due to pressure from Indonesian government officials, who deemed its LGBT themes “inappropriate to be shown in public.”

You can catch a sneak peek at “Conq” via the clip above, then head to Viddsee, where all nine episodes of the series can be viewed.
