Justin Bieber Look-Alike Tobias Strebel Reportedly Died Of 'Multiple Drug Intoxication'

Tobias Strebel, also known as Toby Sheldon ― the man who underwent multiple cosmetic surgeries in order to look like Justin Bieber ― died from “multiple drug intoxication,” TMZ reports. Strebel died in August 2015.

His autopsy report, obtained by the celebrity news site, notes that he had a combination of narcotic painkillers and prescription drugs in his system when he died, including oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, zolpidem and alcohol. Police also reportedly found syringes and a bottle of insulin in the hotel room where Strebel was found.

Police did not suspect foul play and the death was ruled accidental.

Strebel’s body was found in a Motel 6 in California’s San Fernando Valley after he was reported missing. According to the coroner’s report (also obtained by The Wrap), the body was in a state of “moderate decomposition.”

Strebel first made headlines in 2013 for reportedly spending almost $100,000 on multiple surgical procedures to make him look like Bieber. Strebel was an aspiring singer who wanted to make it in the music industry and, in May 2014, released a song called “The Plastics.”

In January 2014, Strebel appeared on “My Strange Addiction,” and in July of that same year, he was on the E! show “Botched,” where he talked about his multiple surgeries and why he was drawn to the Canadian pop star’s looks.
