“It’s modest and tasteful,” Wang told The New York Times in 2009, noting that the bride had converted to Orthodox Judaism before the wedding. “She was actually very much about being covered and I seized on the chance to do a dress that wasn’t naked and very Hollywood.”

Clinton also went with designer Vera Wang for her big day look. She wore not one, but two Vera Wang gowns for the occasion: a strapless silk organza number with a sparkly belt for the ceremony and an ivory silk tulle Grecian-inspired gown with a black belt for the reception.
Wang, who was also a guest at the wedding, said it was a “privilege” to dress the former First Daughter.
Trump and Kushner tied the knot in an Orthodox Jewish ceremony at the private Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

Clinton said her “I dos” in an interfaith ceremony at the private Astor Courts Estate in the sleepy town of Rhinebeck, New York. The bride was raised Methodist, and the groom was raised Jewish.
According to USA Today, the 13,000-foot mansion, which is “supposed to evoke Versailles,” boasts striking views of the Hudson River, and is located on a 50-acre property.
The Guests:
The Trump-Kushner celebration included 500 friends and family including the likes of Natalie Portman, Barbara Walters, Russell Crowe, Rupert Murdoch and Regis Philbin.
With help from one of the Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry designers, Kushner created a 5.22-carat cushion-cut diamond for his bride.
“I love the very delicate setting, and I wanted the band to be as thin as possible,” Trump told Elle.

Not much is known about Clinton’s engagement ring, but from what we can see of it in the photo above, it sure is pretty! In 2009, Mezvinsky popped the question to his longtime girlfriend over Thanksgiving weekend. Afterwards they sent out an email to their loved ones that read, “We’re sorry for the mass email but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn’t get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us.”
The Cakes:
Famed cake-maker Sylvia Weinstock designed Trump and Kushner’s 13-layer confection that measured in at nearly 6-feet tall. It contained a variety of flavors such as chocolate, carrot, almond and yellow cake.
“Each layer was ringed with flowers,” Weinstock told People in 2009. “We had lisianthus, roses, peonies, Lilies of the Valley, baby’s breath – all in the coloring of whites, creams, pinks ivory and flush tones.”
“It was a great wedding,” Donald Trump told People in 2009. “I’m very happy. They’re really a beautiful, smart couple. I think you’ll hear a lot of great things from them in the years to come.”
“Today, we watched with great pride and overwhelming emotion as Chelsea and Marc wed in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts, surrounded by family and their close friends,” Hillary and Bill Clinton said in a 2010 statement. “We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the beginning of their life together, and we are so happy to welcome Marc into our family. On behalf of the newlyweds, we want to give special thanks to the people of Rhinebeck for welcoming us and to everyone for their well-wishes on this special day.”
