Britney Spears is getting the Lifetime biopic treatment, but she doesn’t consider herself lucky.

The network announced Wednesday that it’s turning Spears’ life into a made-for-TV movie, and as with other Lifetime productions, it was unauthorized. (”Whitney,” anyone?)

A rep for Spears told Entertainment Weekly the singer won’t be involved “in any way, shape or form … nor does it have her blessing.

The project, currently titled “Britney,” will reportedly outline the pop princess’ life growing up in Louisiana, her rise to mega-stardom in the late ‘90s, and then the late 2000s, which proved to be a turbulent time for the performer.

Natasha Bassett, who starred in “Hail, Caesar!” is set to play the pop princess, according to EW, with Leslie Libman (”Manson’s Lost Girls”) directing. The screenplay will be written by Anne-Marie Hess and Asylum Entertainment will produce.

Production on the project will begin in September in Vancouver with a debut set for sometime in 2017.
