Trevor Noah Eviscerates Matt Lauer's Presidential Forum Performance

Matt Lauer received criticism from all corners for his terrible performance at Wednesday night’s Commander-In-Chief forum, but none were as blistering as Trevor Noah’s takedown.

On Thursday night’s “Daily Show,” Noah bluntly expressed his frustrations with the NBC journalist.

“I don’t know what the fuck he was doing ― and neither did he!” Noah said.

Noah explained how Lauer wasted the chance to ask Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton important foreign policy questions, instead focusing on her email troubles.

“Matt Lauer asked so many questions about email, I felt like I was stuck in line at the [Apple Store’s] Genius Bar,” Noah said.

Noah was also angry at Lauer for not asking Republican nominee Donald Trump any useful follow-up questions.

“Trump lies and Matt Lauer moves on,” Noah said.

“I would love to date Matt Lauer. Getting busted would be impossible. It’d be like, ‘Who’s Thirsty Lisa?’ ‘Uh, my mom?’ [And he’d say], ‘All right. Let’s move on and talk about dinner.’”
