The singer sat down for an interview with “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” Wednesday when the host asked her about her romance with rapper Mac Miller. He brought up a recent Instagram post on Grande’s account ― captioned with “baabyyy” ― that he said “confirmed” the relationship.

“Is that what I did? Is that what Instagram means to you now? All right, world, let’s go,” she replied. “Is that what that means?”

“Well, I don’t know,” Seacrest added, “that’s what I’m asking.”

“What are you asking? You said a sentence, there was no question,” the 23-year-old said. “I don’t know, man ... It’s too early for this kind of tea. It’s too early, man.”

Seacrest pushed her on the subject, bringing up the fact that Grande herself shared the snapshot with her 84.1 million Instagram followers.

“If I post something, that’s what I’m willing to share at the moment. But it doesn’t mean that you, Ryan Seacrest, with millions of listeners, are entitled to more information.”

And that was that.

That same day, when Grande appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” where she and Miller performed together three years ago, she was a bit more willing to open up.

“This is so crazy! I’ve never had the relationship talk on a show before ... No pressure,” Grande said, before adding that “Oh, yeah,” they’re dating.
