Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump took two very different approaches to preparing for Monday night’s debate.
The New York Times reported that Trump “can get bored” with debate prep and his advisers “see it as a waste of time to try to fill his head with facts and figures.” But as Seth Meyers noted on “Late Night,” there’s a reason for that.
“Yeah, his head doesn’t have room for facts and figures because it has to hold seven words.”

While Trump seemed unprepared, Clinton was just the opposite.
“Hillary was over-prepared with one of her patented lukewarm zingers,” Meyers said before playing a clip of her “trumped up economics” crack.
“Nothing like watching Hillary landing a joke Sully-style,” he said, referring to former pilot Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, who crash-landed a plane in the Hudson River.
