Obama Sniffs Himself To Make Sure He's Not A Demon

So it’s come to this: the president of the United States publicly denying he’s a demon, as conspiracy theorists have suggested.

President Barack Obama on Tuesday took a break from eviscerating Republican nominee Donald Trump and the GOP to respond to bizarre allegations raised this week by right-wing radio host Alex Jones.

“There’s a guy on the radio who apparently ... said me and Hillary are demons,” Obama said during a rally for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in Greensboro, North Carolina. “Said we smell like sulfur. Ain’t that something!”

Then, pausing, Obama smelled his wrist, just to make sure he wasn’t missing any devilish odors.

Jones, an unashamed Trump supporter, suggested on his radio show Monday that Clinton and Obama were literally the devil because of the way they smell.

“I’m told her and Obama just stink, stink, stink, stink,” Jones said. “You can’t wash that evil off, man. People say ... Obama and Hillary both smell like sulfur.”

Jones went on to say that his anonymous sources ― “people that are in protective details,” he claimed ― say Clinton and Obama both smell “like hell.”

During his nearly five-minute rant, Jones called Clinton a “psychopathic demon from hell” who is “so dark,” “so evil,” and “so possessed.” He said Obama is demonic because there are videos and photos that show flies landing on him.

Though Obama laughed off the hateful tirade as he finished a 90-minute speech supporting Clinton, he reminded the crowd that comments like that can divide the country.

“I mean, come on people,” Obama said. “Democracy does not work if you just say stuff like that.”
