Vice President Joe Biden dismissed Donald Trump’s “locker room talk” excuse Sunday morning, saying guys he knew in locker rooms don’t brag about sexually assaulting women.

“The vast majority of men don’t share the view of Donald Trump. I played ― I was a pretty good athlete in high school, college. I don’t ever remember that kind of locker room talk, never,” Biden said in an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press. “You might have a guy say, ‘Boy, look at that,’ or ‘Dude’ or make some comments like that. But the idea that, ‘She lets me do anything because I’m a celebrity’ is just sick.”

Biden was referring to leaked video from 2005, in which Trump talked about using his celebrity status to assault women without their consent: “Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”

Trump has since said that he doesn’t actually do what he boasted of in that video.

“I don’t think you understood what was — this was locker room talk,” Trump said in the most recent debate. “I’m not proud of it. I apologize to my family. I apologize to the American people. Certainly I’m not proud of it. But this is locker room talk.”

Trump was not in a locker room at the time of his remarks; he was on an “Access Hollywood” bus for a professional appearance.

Athletes have also stepped forward and said that comments like Trump’s are not what most men talk about in locker rooms.

Since Trump’s remarks at the debate, a steady stream of women have stepped forward to say that Trump sexually assaulted them. Trump has responded by saying they are part of a conspiracy against him and arguing that they are too ugly for him to assault.

In an interview Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Democratic vice presidential nominee Sen. Tim Kaine (Va.) said unequivocally that Hillary Clinton’s campaign was not at all involved in the women coming forward.

“As soon as he looked folks in the face and said those were not my actions,” Kaine said, “that was essentially the invitation to people who knew otherwise to come out and say, ‘Wait a minute, I’d had an experience with Donald Trump.’”
