Tom Hanks Asks Zoltar To Make Him A 'Big' Kid Again In Hilarious 'Late Show' Skit

We all just want to be young again.

Tom Hanks just took us on a big trip down memory lane.

The “Inferno” star paid a visit to “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Monday night, where he uncovered Zoltar ― the fortune-telling machine man from “Big” ― in a storage room and asked for one more wish.

After waking up the machine, Hanks is a little shocked to notice the all-knowing one (played by Colbert in the parody) looks a little different. Still, he goes on to plead his case.

“Zoltar, last time we met, I was a 13-year-old boy who wanted to be older. So you granted my wish and I woke up the next morning as a 30-year-old man,” Hanks said. “I need you to do that again please.”

Zoltar couldn’t help but ask Hanks, “Don’t you remember the heartwarming lesson you learned last time?” to which the actor said, “Yeah, I learned being older isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be — a lesson I’m constantly learning every day at my age.”

He added, “Just yesterday, I tried to jump on one of those big floor pianos and do a dance. I swear I heard my hip snap.”

After continuing to confuse Hanks for his “Toy Story” co-star Tim Allen, Zoltar asks for payment, but unfortunately for the actor, the fortune-telling machine no longer accepts quarters ― Hanks has to sell his soul or read Zoltar’s screenplay. You can probably guess which option he picked.
