7-Year-Old Girl Brings Down The House With Dance Moves

“She’s been dancing since she was 1.”

A second grader in Georgia is showing the internet how to dominate a dance floor.

Last week, Titra Lampley posted a Facebook video that shows her 7-year-old daughter, Ja’miyla Barber, dancing at the Lithia Springs Elementary School Halloween dance. As she busts a move to “Juju on That Beat (TZ Anthem)” while dressed as Wonder Woman, it’s clear that Ja’miyla is stealing the show.

“Y’all know she turnt the dance up,” Lampley wrote in the caption for the video, which has reached over 210,000 views.

Ja’miyla’s mom told The Huffington Post she did not expect the video to go viral. “I always post videos of her dancing for my friends and family to enjoy,” she said.

Lampley added that Ja’miyla’s dream is to dance and act. “She’s been dancing since she was 1,” the mom explained. Though other kids have bullied her for her small size, Ja’miyla won’t let anyone stop her from pursuing her dreams.

Lampley said she hopes the video “lets every kid in the world know that you can enjoy yourself.”

She added, “You can hold your head high and be you, no matter what.”
