One woman showed up to the Village Halloween Parade in New York City on Monday night dressed up as “a soiled tampon,” which, according to the photo’s caption, she wanted to do for “so many years.”
But fulfilling a years-long dream was apparently about more than a creative use of fake blood. As the woman told New York Magazine’s Jada Yuan, who took the photo, “tampons take a lot of pride in their work.”
