Here’s The Moment Ryan Reynolds Knew He Clicked With Blake Lively

Silver screen goddess Blake Lively and master of the Twitter universe Ryan Reynolds are a match made in Hollywood heaven. It’s almost inconceivable to think that the “Deadpool” actor was once married (and engaged!) to someone else before he clicked with Lively.

In an interview with GQ, Reynolds ― one of the magazine’s “Men of the Year” ― opened up about the one night in NYC when things really clicked with Lively.

“[It was] probably after the sex,” the actor joked, before getting serious about his connection with his “Green Lantern” co-star.

“No, we were hanging out at this little restaurant in Tribeca that’s open really late, and this song came on and I was just like, ‘Want to dance?’ No one was in there, so it was just totally empty,” Reynolds said. “And it was just one of those moments where halfway through the dance, it was like, ‘Oh, I think I just crossed a line.’ And then I walked her home. And, uh, you know, I don’t really need to go into what happened after that.”

Reynolds and Lively recently welcomed their second child together, a baby girl who will join sister James, who is nearly 2. At the time of the GQ interview, Lively was very pregnant and Reynolds was very excited about meeting his new little one.
