To mark the 75th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack on Wednesday, World War II veteran Pete DuPre played the national anthem on his harmonica before a college basketball game in Honolulu.

DuPre, reportedly 97, blew a plaintive cry of remembrance that brought down the house. Seton Hall then defeated Cal, 60-57, in the Pearl Harbor Invitational, but DuPre may have stolen the show.

He served as a medic during the Battle of the Bulge and every note echoed his patriotism.

Hats off to you, Pete DuPre.
