100 Drag Queens Come Together To Make The Holidays 'Gay And Bright'

These queens own Christmas.

It’s 2016 and drag is about as mainstream as it’s ever been, so seeing a queen lip sync is no longer in and of itself guaranteed to be an all-together scintillating spectacle. But what about 100 drag queens barreling through some of the most beloved Christmas songs ever?

Drag Queens United: The Christmas Edition” is a 12-minute holiday fantasy featuring 100 Dutch drag queens offering their takes on classics like “It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year,” “Sleigh Ride” and “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer” (the Destiny’s Child version, naturally). Drag Queens United was formed in 2011 by Lady Galore, according to its official website, because she believes drag queens need “to work together more and... show the rest of the gay scene that even we can work together and appreciate each other.”

So add a little extra unexpected “ho, ho, ho” to your holiday party by queueing up the video above and hitting “replay” as many times as your guests demand it.
