Katherine Johnson Had An Oscars Moment With The Women Of 'Hidden Figures'

It’s gonna be hard to top the appearance of NASA mathematician Katherine Johnson on the Oscars stage Sunday night. Johnson, who is played by Taraji P. Henson in the Oscar-nominated “Hidden Figures,” joined Henson, Janelle Monae and Octavia Spencer to present the Best Documentary award.

The 98-year-old Johnson, who was greeted by a standing ovation, simply said “thanks very much.”
