“Biggest Loser” host Bob Harper has broken his silence after a major heart attack left him unconscious for days two weeks ago.

The fitness guru reportedly collapsed during a gym workout in New York City earlier this month and was immediately hospitalized after a fellow gym-goer kept him alive using CPR and defibrillators. He woke up two days later and was put on bed rest over the following week, per doctor’s orders.

Harper addressed the incident on social media Tuesday with a photo from his hospital bed, assuring fans that he’s home, resting and feeling much better.

“Well I guess you all heard what happened. Two weeks ago yesterday I had a heart attack. I am feeling better. Just taking it easy. KARL has been a great nurse,” he captioned a photo showing himself and a dog. “I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of messages and support. It feels good to be cared about. I’ve been home for 8 days now. Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I’m lucky to have such good friends and family to take care of me right now.”

Harper told TMZ, which was first to report the news, that the incident was caused by genetics since heart disease runs in the family; his mother died from a heart attack.

Now, Harper wears monitors on his chest to ensure that his heart remains healthy. He followed up his hospital post with a photo documenting his new reality ― because nothing says you’re on the mend like a shirtless selfie, right?

“On the road to recovery. I’m required to wear these monitors to see what my heart is doing throughout the day. I feel like a robot from WESTWORLD,” he joked in the caption, adding “thank you all for your kindness. You have no idea how much it helps.”

Something tells us he’ll be back to the gym in no time.
