Pete Davidson Of 'SNL' Says He's Off Drugs And 'Happy'

“Saturday Night Live” trouper Pete Davidson declared Monday that he has quit drugs and urged fans “to never give up hope.”

Davidson, 23, wrote on Instagram that he is “happy and sober” for the first time in eight years, and thanked his girlfriend, Cazzie David, and others for their support.

He also posted photos with David, the daughter of comic actor and writer Larry David.

In a sketch that aired Jan. 26, Davidson played a student in a support group for college kids who’ve broken the school’s alcohol rules.

Davidson has previously addressed his depression and use of medical marijuana to treat Crohn’s disease, Us reported.
