Jesy Nelson Laughs Off Rumors That She And Perrie Edwards Are Feuding

Jesy Nelson is not here for your manufactured drama.

The Little Mix singer was at the center of a firestorm last weekend after bandmate Perrie Edwards cropped her out of a photo from the Kids’ Choice Awards. According to Edwards, the crop was perfectly innocent. But to fans, cutting Nelson out looked like a pointed attack.

“Oh and Jesy is cropped out the picture because she doesn’t like any of the photos! 🙄😂 ,” Edwards captioned her photo. Unfortunately, fans weren’t so sure.

The plot thickened when Nelson began posting a series of photos of herself from the event. Nelson shared five red carpet photos and two backstage shots, proving that there were at least some pictures she liked from the event. Naturally, Little Mix fans wondered if Nelson was throwing shade at Edwards for the crop job.

“I know the real reason why Jesy is cropped but when I heard rumours that Jesy and Perrie were fighting I nearly cried,” one fan commented.

“Y’all did Jesy petty,” added another.

But to hear Nelson tell it, there is zero animosity between Edwards and herself. Nelson tackled the rumors head-on via Snapchat, quite literally laughing off the fans’ speculation.

“So we’d just like to address the situation of the friendship between me and Perrie,” Nelson said. “Do you think I’d be lying in her bed if I wasn’t friends with her?”

Given that we can hear Edwards giggling along in the background, it seems safe to say this “feud” is little more than hearsay.

A Little Mix spokesperson similarly slammed the rumors, telling BuzzFeed, “This is absolute nonsense created out of nothing.”

“There is no fall out whatsoever within Little Mix,” they added. “We now sadly live in a world where stories are fabricated from Instagram photo posts.”
