Pink's Empowering Body Image Post Urges Women To 'Stay Off That Scale'

"Dammit I don’t feel obese. The only thing I’m feeling is myself."

When it comes to body image, Pink refuses to get caught up in the number on the scale.

On Sunday, the singer posted a selfie she took at the gym on Instagram, along with an empowering caption.

“Would you believe I’m 160 pounds and 5’3”? By ‘regular standards’ that makes me obese,” she wrote. “I know I’m not at my goal or anywhere near it after Baby 2 but dammit I don’t feel obese. The only thing I’m feeling is myself. Stay off that scale ladies!”

The singer concluded her post with a string of hashtags including, #feelingmyself #strongismygoal#bodygoals and #GIJaneismyWCW.

Pink gave birth to her son, Jameson Moon Hart, in December. She’s also mom to 5-year-old Willow Sage Hart.

The gym selfie received over 230,000 likes on Instagram, and the comments section is full of positive. Her “stay off that scale” message echoes what so many fitness enthusiasts have been emphasizing on social media.

Kudos to Pink for keeping it real about her fitness journey and staying positive about body image.
