Obamas Draw 35,000 To Ohio State for Moving America Forward Rally

With the midterm elections fast approaching, President Barack Obama addressed a crowd of 35,000 at Ohio State University Sunday night.

The talk was part of hisrally Moving America Forward campaign. It was the largest crowd he has drawn since his inauguration.

The Obamas appeared with musical guest John Legend, former senator and astronaut John Glenn and several Ohio politicians including Governor Ted Strickland, Lt. Governor Lee Fisher, who is running for Senate and Congresswoman Mary Jo Kilroy.

"O-H!" he shouted to the screaming crowd, who hollered "I-O!" in response. It is OSU's signature battle cry.

The president urged the crowd, many of whom voted for the first time in 2008, to get out and vote on November 2 and keep Republicans out of office.

"We need you fired up because in a little more than two weeks, you can set the direction of this state and the direction of this country for not just the next two years, but the next five years, the next 10 years, the next 20 years," he said.
