One of the questions that I always ask the luminaries that I am honored to dialogue with on my "Spiritpreneur School" podcast series, is: "Do you have a mantra or guiding principle to share?"

My question is inspired by Bill T. Jones, artistic director, choreographer and dance phenom. I was blessed to be taught by Mr. Jones many years ago at the Sidney Khan Summer Institute at The Kitchen, a NYC performance landmark. It was quite a summer as our lecturers also included artist Yoko Ono.

I no longer recall the context, but Mr. Jones asked me if I had a fight song. When I replied no he said, "Well you'd better get one, baby girl. Because it can be rough out there. Life is hard."

Your mantra is your fight song.

I use the word "spiritpreneur" to describe the tribe of faith-based entrepreneurs that I work with as a self-worth coach. I share soul care, skills, strategy, and resources with these amazing women. These business bombshells are answering their callings, fulfilling their purposes, and stepping into their greatness. I call it "taking our self-love to self-launch." For my tribe, this often means building ventures that cause us to face old bugaboos; like issues with deservability, wounded healer challenges, impostor syndrome, people pleasing, and discomfort with prosperity because of our old beliefs that money is "bad" or not spiritual.

This is where your mantra and fight song can come in handy. There can be so much negative noise that a mantra is a proactive stance of reinforcing your personal power. As Albert Einstein once said, "We can not solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them." This means that we need new thoughts, new mantras, and new information to evolve.

A couple of weeks ago I interviewed the phenomenal Kathy Cano-Murillo, also known as "CraftyChica," about how she juggles her crafts empire that ranges from her blog and books to her products in Michaels.

"Have you ever dealt with procrastination?" I asked.

"I don't have time for procrastination!" Kathy replied. This spiritpreneur powerhouse said that she had much too much to do to even given procrastination a moment in her space. Yes!

Kathy's powerful words have become a new mantra for me: "I don't have time for procrastination."

Another great example of a spiritpreneur mantra comes from Arianna Huffington's "Thrive." Actually, the title of the book itself is a phenomenal mantra, or womantra, as I call them in my last book, "The Sacred Bombshell Handbook of Self-Love." Ms. Huffington teaches, "Instead of doing what you think the world will validate, do what you love."

The most simple mantra I teach? "I can do it and I am grateful."

I am still writing my next book, which is tentatively titled, "The Sacred Bombshell Business Bible for Spiritpreneurs." Clearly, I am a fan of long titles. As I am balancing completing a couple of books, my blogs, podcasts, and coaching programs, I've been studying Tim Ferriss, one of my favorite gurus of efficiency. In a recent interview with Brian Rose's inspiring show "London Real," Mr. Ferriss gave me a new mantra: "I have all the time I need to do everything that's important." Yes!

Here are some additional personal mantras I created just for your spiritpreneur success. You may choose to use them as affirmations or add to them to create your own personal manifesto. You can also sing them while working out as I do, creating the ultimate fight song!
