For those of us just days away from graduating, it's really difficult to decide, like, what we should ask for as a graduation gift. Total #whitegirlproblems, right?
How does one properly celebrate the end of their undergraduate education? For some it's a new car, others breast implants. But for me, the ultimate graduation gift came from none other than Ms. Oprah Winfrey. Erika Berg -- my Gayle King -- and I will head to Chicago May 17 for the two-part "Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular."
Up until this point, I thought a new MacBook would help me celebrate my B.A. in journalism, but little did I know that Ms. Winfrey would swoop in and trump all of my expectations. Oprah will reportedly have no clue who is on the star-studded guest list and will no doubt deliver classic Oprah reactions -- you know the ones I'm talkin' 'bout.
"We are our own competition. We do try to outdo ourselves all the time. I have a feeling that May 17 will be nothing like we have done before," audience wrangler extraordinaire Sally Lou Loveman said. "It is the biggest challenge we have. We have 11 days to ticket it, so we have a big challenge."
What I know for sure is that I will have to ask Erika to slap me across the face at least five times...
