I'm proud to be a part of a movement that's helping more than 2.5 million people to create real, positive change in the fight against extreme poverty and preventable disease.

As the lead singer for Maroon 5, I understand the power of voice. My new show on NBC is focused on finding THE voice. The voice that can turn heads and sell out huge stadiums. ONE, on the other hand, is all about finding many voices -- millions of them, in fact -- to make noise in the fight against extreme poverty. I'm happy to count my voice among them.

Now, ONE has a cool new tool that will make it even easier to use your voice to fight extreme poverty and preventable disease. The ONE app for the iPhone www.one.org/iphone has just been released -- it's free and it makes it easier than ever to make a difference.

Maroon 5 has been working with ONE for more than a year to sign-up thousands of new ONE members at our shows in the US and Europe and to raise awareness of the incredible progress being made fighting poverty and disease in Africa.

We've been trying to do what we can while traveling on the road, and now the new ONE app puts everything we need to make a difference right at our fingertips -- and yours too. You can get the facts (like how we've pushing to end mother-to-child transmission of HIV by 2015), sign petitions, and even call the White House -- all with a few clicks in the ONE app. And since our campaign needs momentum to really end extreme poverty in our lifetime, the ONE app also lets you recruit your friends to the cause.

I've spent the last several days toying around with the app -- taking action and getting informed. It's slick, cool and I think you're going to love it. I'm personally proud to be a part of a movement that's helping more than 2.5 million people to create real, positive change in the fight against extreme poverty and preventable disease.

Download the ONE app right now and raise your voice, too at www.one.org/iphone.
