So, oddly enough, I am watching The Passion of the Christ on TV on Sunday night. Watch the whole thing. Chilling. And in the shadow of the recent Mel G. arrest revelation, even more so.
I mean, Mel, who basically has it all, the gleam of superstardom, wealth, prestige, Oscar, gets arrested, drunk, and yells that the Jews are behind it all. And, as a Catholic, I'm thinking, here Mel has dug down deep to glorify JC, the ultimate promoter of the forgiveness program.
Killed the whole film for me. Who'd a thought? Mel Gibson...the Opus Dei buzz-kill.
