Sports have always been a challenging topic for me to master, and over the years I've grown to accept my lack of athletic skill. My parents had always been proud of the "sportsmanship" awards and participation ribbons I brought home. At least they said they were proud. Come to think of it, I don't know where those ribbons are now. Shouldn't they live in some kind of shrine to their firstborn son? I'm going to BBM them about that later.

I've moved -- both in miles and years -- from my days as an undergrad at Florida State. When I was there, every Saturday was spent at Doak Campbell Stadium cheering on my 'Noles and trying to trade TV station-issued field passes for skybox passes (they had an open bar and ice cream bars). Now here I am, 12 years and 2,000 miles removed and I'm finding it more and more difficult to keep track of how the team is doing. So, I've become dependent
