The West Coast has always been known for great food, but in recent years one city has started to gain attention disproportionate to its size.

Portland, Oregon has slowly become a capital for everything from coffee to produce to wine and now restaurants. With a fiercely loyal community of chefs and a legion of fans across the country, more and more people are starting to discover that Portland is a true dining destination.

This past weekend saw the city's 4th annual Feast Portland food festival, which celebrates the bounty of the area while also bringing in some of the county's best chefs. And so we talked to chefs both from Portland and afar about what makes Portland so unique - and we also got some killer tips for dining out upon arrival.
