Prosecutor Daniel Saunders has begun his closing argument, starting off strongly with his statement that the Pellicano Investigative Agency was "nothing more than a criminal organization operated by a well connected, well paid thug." He then went on to give the jury a recitation of the number of witnesses and documents that the government has presented showing what happened to people that found themselves on the wrong side of the Pellicano agency. Mr. Saunders has been direct, strong and quite structured in his argument, seemingly quite compelling during the opening stages. It is going to go away. Nothing has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Ergo, the dependents are not guilty. While they are not guilty, they are hardly innocent. The truth is of little importance.
There are people who really want this to go away, by technicality would be fine, so, brace yourself for more absurd and delusional comments from clumsy shills.
