Who Are Your Top Bills' Draft Picks of All Time?

Buffalobills.com has created a micro-site where fans can pick their top draft picks of all time. I have no idea how to use it, so I guess I'll just lay out...well, my favorite players.

What's up Bills lovers? As disturbed as I was that the season ended and left me legit confused about what I was supposed to do on Sundays, I embraced this break and spent a little time on my mental, emotional and physical state. It was a time to reflect on the ridiculousness of my crying from Week 11 on (and realizing I'll most likely do the same thing this year too) and a chance to kill a few less brain cells and give my liver a well deserved detox (sort of). Now, it's time to dive in and try to figure out what to expect from the upcoming season, which we may or may not be right about.

But before we do that (because honestly, I need a day that's not the first real day of sunshine in 4 months, for proper concentration) let's talk about something that's really for the fans. Buffalobills.com has created a micro-site where fans can pick their top draft picks of all time. You can also register to win a bunch of free stuff, which normally I'd be all over, except I'm confused.

Yep -- I have no idea how to use the site. At first, I thought it was because I was distracted by being nauseous from the rapidly scrolling marquee with player photos and info. But then I figured out how to get it to stop by hovering the mouse over a particular photo and I was still confused. Maybe I'm just slow, perhaps I just don't have the energy to figure this out, whatever the reason, check it out for yourself and if you discover how to properly use it, please let me know.

What I did understand was that most of my favorite players were options. And since I don't know how many I'm allowed to pick for each round or anything like that, I guess I'll just lay out...well, my favorite players. Worst sports blogger ever??...Nah, I'm just special.

In no particular order...

-Eric Moulds: Always one of my faves, sleep beside his bobble head every night and yes, I cried when he left us.

-Jim Kelly: I mean, this is pretty self-explanatory. He was a huge part of my baby Bills years, so I don't remember much, but I do know we haven't had another QB like him since. And he's still active in both the Buffalo and Bills community, which always scores points in my book (not that my book matters at all). Support Hunter's Hope!

-Thurman Thomas: Another staple of my baby Bills years -- I'll never forget my daddy freaking out every time he beasted. He would affectionately refer to him simply as "Thurm" like they were best friends so I, in turn, grew up thinking we were friends (I knew weren't ACTUALLY friends) and I picked a fight with some family friends' kids who talked sh*t about him during a game against Dallas. I was a feisty bitch, even back in the day.

-Nate Clements: One of the first players I deemed "a favorite" all on my own. Yep, I cried when he too left us, but that's totally legit, I mean he was quite valuable on D and looked really nice in the air when he went up for interceptions.

-Lee Evans:
Ahh! Need we even discuss this?! I'm pretty sure I gush about him every week. Love love love him! He keeps my blood pressure significantly lower during many a game. I was him for Halloween.

-Jay Riemersma: When we get another TE like him, someone let me know, because it'll be a great day.

What I was really quite disturbed by was how Peerless Price was not an option for me. By far, my absolute favorite. Don't ask me why because while he was good, he wasn't that good, but I just loved everything about him. The way his name just rolls off the tongue (Peerless LeCrosse Price -- did y'all know his mom named him that because he "had no peers," he was that amazing), his number (I rule my life by combos of 8 and 1 -- like, I won't get out of bed unless it's on an 8. Yeah, I'm weird, you love it), the way his helmet had those little things sticking up extra high so they looked like antennas. *Sigh* I named my car after him and it's truly the perfect fit because it's blue and shiny and clearly above all the other Honda Civics. I'm sure somewhere in the site rules it tells me why he probably didn't make the qualifications to be an option but like I said, I got confused and stopped reading.

Ugh, I tried really hard to get to 10 but I can't take this marquee -- it's making me ill. Does anyone else feel old as dirt when simple things like a scrolling marquee or swinging on the swings makes you sick? Y'all probably don't even give a buffalo's behind about who my favorite players are...so tell me your picks! Either tweet 'em to me @lysssie or @chicksndahuddle or comment this!

GO BILLS!!!!
