1000 Awesome Things

"1000 Awesome Things might be described as optimism for the rest of us. Sunny without being saccharine, it's a countdown of life's little joys that reads like a snappy Jerry Seinfeld monologue by way of Maria Von Trapp." - The Vancouver Sun

I don't like the Good News Network: they charge you for their content, even though they don't do any original reporting, and they don't pay their contributors ("volunteers"). My two favorite sites for uplifting news are Good and Peace Correspondents (which you didn't mention).

Thank you HP for starting this page! I'm sooo thrilled to visit this page, amongst all the other "negative" news we are bombarded with. There are many good folks out there who want to do something good... who want to help by volunteering - but simply don't know where to go or which organization they might want to help. This page allows them to see all the different organizations, as well as the many individuals who are doing remarkable things to help others. I volunteer already, but now I can visit some of the links in the areas I care about & do even more. I love this page & I love helping others!

Thank you "OneVoiceRising" for your link suggestions. I really enjoyed the second one (www.ourcollectivegood.com). : )

Thanks, Amy. I've been working on a project for years, and it's finally manifesting. It complements the information you've shared here, so I hope it's okay to also share.

Our Collective Good is where we Manifest Wisdom; Wishadoo! is where we put it into Action.

I invite you and other readers to visit www.wishadoo.org and www.ourcollectivegood.com
