RICHMOND, VA (The Borowitz Report) -- In his most ambitious effort yet to connect Virginia to its past, Gov. Robert F. McDonnell (R) today proposed building what he called "a gigantic, state-of-the-art hot tub time machine."

Once completed, the enormous hot tub time machine would enable the entire population to travel back in time to 1860, when Virginia was a part of the Confederacy, Gov. McDonnell noted.

"We have to build it big enough so everyone can get in," he said, adding, "Well, not everyone, if you know what I mean." More here.
