The Adrienne Shelly Foundation (ASF), a non-profit organization dedicated to the memory of adored actor, writer and director Adrienne Shelly (Waitress) awards nine annual production grants which support women filmmakers.
"The work that the Adrienne Shelly Foundation has done over the past six years is really remarkable and I'm proud to support such an important organization working hard to help women filmmakers everywhere achieve their dreams," said three-time Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe Award-winning actor Michelle Williams, who's participating in her third ASF auction.

Formed in January 2007, the Adrienne Shelly Foundation supports the artistic achievements of female filmmakers through a series of scholarships and grants, distributed through partnerships with Women in Film, IFP, Nantucket Film Festival, Sundance Institute, Tribeca Film Institute, Columbia University, Boston University, Rooftop Films and American Film Institute.
