Murdoch Roasted at his WSJ Tech Conference

Jill Sobule, the singer songwriter had a hit back in 1995 with Clueless with the song "I Kissed a Girl" and "Supermodel," was the hit opening act for the Wall Street Journal's AllThingdD conference last night.

"Rupert/ they took our picture/you gave me a warm hug/ it was really disconcerting. I've never been a big fan/ the op-eds of the Wall Street Journal I can't stand/ but that night Rupert you were my man."

I've embedded WSJ the clip here. The song is already generating buzz in the U.K. among Murdoch watchers.

Before he took the stage, Murdoch mingled with attendees including Washington Post Chairman Donald Graham and publisher Katharine Weymouth. I have published this "exclusive" video below:
