The New York Times is organizing its video operation into topic channels and will soon make them available across its site, on Apps, via connected TV's and other devices. This new offering will debut at the upcoming Digital Content NewFronts (4/28 - 5/2) where The Times will present for the first time, says Rebecca Howard, General Manager for Video, in this video with Beet.TV

In this segment, she gives an overview of video production, syndication and discovery at the paper. She was interviewed on stage by Erick Schonfeld at the recent Beet.TV executive retreat in Vieques, Puerto Rico.

Howard joined the Times last February after having worked as Head of Video Development at AOL's Huffington Post Media Group.
