Some 80 percent of viewers of VH1 programming use a mobile device (phone,tablet, laptop) while watching, says Dan Sacher, SVP for Digital at VH1 in this interview with Beet.TV

These new viewing habits have redefined what had been called "social TV" to the new reality of television itself, he says. While not all the 80 percent of those with a second device interact with VH1 programming, this new environment provides the network with many new opportunities, he says.
