ANAHEIM, CA - NYC-based comedian Mark Malkoff has made a name for himself with a collection of online video stunts in which he challenges himself to do things like live in an IKEA for a week, live on an AirTran jet for 30 days, get 6-pack abs in 30 days and more. At VidCon, Beet.TV sat down with Malkoff to discuss how brands are embracing online video.

Malkoff told us, "A lot of brands are starting to take more risks. I think that they're realizing that online content is almost a necessity... and they're taking chances. I think that they realize that the stuff that people find entertaining and engaging is stuff that's authentic and they're giving more control to content creators like me to do things."

In the video interview, Malkoff talks about some of his own experiences working with brands, including projects with Ford, IKEA and AirTran.
