Video TC Disrupt: "Real" Commerce on Facebook Will Happen, TechCrunch's Leena Rao

Facebook is inevitably moving towards becoming a major e-commerce destination, says Leena Rao, a reporter with TechCrunch.

While many marketers are using Facebook, Zynga and other social sites as branding platforms -- and others or dispensing virtual payments, Facebook will become a a place where goods and services are bought and sold.

Leena doesn't give a time frame, but says it's going to happen.

On Sunday, she reported on a big branding deal between Zynga and 7-Eleven.

I interviewed her on Sunday afternoon in Manhattan during the set-up of the TechCrunch Disrupt conference.

This morning, Russian Facebook investor Yuri Milner spoke about the global opportunities for Facebook.
