Jacqui Boland had an "aha moment" when she was pregnant with her son and realized that there was not a resource for Seattle moms looking for fun and engaging activities with their kids. She founded Red Tricycle, a digital city guide for parents, to fill this void in the mom market. Over the last seven years she has grown her business into a national site that is currently in nine markets including San Francisco, New York, Washington, DC and continues to grow.

In the latest video for the web series The Modern Mompreneur, Jacqui shares insight on her "aha moment," and how she grew that idea into a national website visited by hundreds of thousands of families. She also discusses her tips for mompreneurs interested in pursuing funding based on her own experience in raising $1.5 million in funding earlier this year.
