Do you have a dream?

We all do. Right?

If so, don't regret not chasing it; it's never too late.

You want to be devoted to your dream. You want to be you and do something that will reflect you. You want to give back to the world that gift you have.

But you can't bring yourself to do it now because you think you're too busy. You keep putting it off because you think you'll have time in the future to do it.

My neighbor who is in her late eighties tells me that every day she regrets not following her dream. She says she kept putting it off. And finally time caught up with her.

The cold, hard truth is that time is not on your side. So stop putting off chasing your dream.

Deep down you want to be remembered -- we all do. You want people to remember you for your contribution to society. You want to leave a legacy to your kids and future generations to come.

You keep on putting off chasing your dreams because you're busy chasing other less-important things -- and that is incredibly sad.

Here's the good news, though. You can start chasing your dreams while you still have time. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.

Time is not like money. You can always make more money, but if you waste the time you have, you'll never be able to make more of it.

How to respect your dreams.

1. Stop Spinning Your Wheels.

Why are you trading your life by doing something that's not you? Ditch those things that suck your soul and get you nowhere. Change your action and your belief about your dream by not getting stuck in a pattern of habits that add no value to you.

To get ahead with your dream, chose one thing that you really, really love. The one thing you can't keep off your mind.

I'm sure you've heard the advice to do what you love. But honestly, how many things do you love? Don't you think it's absurd and impossible to do all the things you love?

Let your choice of that one thing you really, really value be based on your formal education, experience from your current and former jobs, or even informal education. From this choice, you can develop a talent -- your dream.

2. Become An Authority.

Being an authority means being different or standing out from the crowd.

Don't wait for a sign. You have to start rocking your own boat. Be brave, and trust yourself to make it happen.

Make your own rules, and follow them curiously. It's your dream so stop taking destructive advice from people. Give yourself permission to listen to others' ideas, and only follow what's in your favor.

Figure things out by learning and using personal experiences. Prove yourself through your work, and make it happen.

Hold your ground firm because life can be overwhelming To become an authority, ignore any feelings of overwhelm, and start carving out your own path by trusting your instincts. Above all, guard yourself against being a victim -- haters will always be there.

3. Never Give Up.

Your dream is your love story, and only you can execute it. Let this story be inspiring to people. You don't need to wait until you have a red bow of perfection tied on it to start. It's frightening and intimidating to start chasing your dreams, but you can and will do it with determination.

There is no magic pill to it except working hard and learning the survival game. In the end, you will be proud of yourself for what you'll have accomplished.

Although it's intimidating, you can make it. The key is to keep taking steps (no matter how small), and never give up.

Start with ten minutes today, and then ten minutes tomorrow, and the next day. Keep going and you'll clock up five hours a month.

4. Start Now.

You've been placed on this earth for a reason. Don't live in your own bubble with doors shut. Meet other people. Let your dream be a contribution to society. Many people are waiting to be inspired by you.

Make the best of the time you have now and start. Set your own schedule and structured routine, and stick to it.

Starting now saves your future from regret. Find time every day to move toward your goal. Yes, you're busy, but you can find a few minutes every day.

5. Failure Teaches Strength.

Will you fail? Probably more than once. First acknowledge you've failed because if you don't, it'll be hard to improve or change the habit that led to failure. Take full responsibility for your failure -- own it.

What did you learn? If you don't learn from your mistakes, you will repeat the same mistakes again and again.

Will failure turn your world upside down? Sure it will. So, take time to grieve.

Then change your behavior because you don't want to repeat the same mistakes.

Remember, it's what you do with that failure that counts. Use that failure to motivate you along the way. Failure comes before success. Don't give up when it gets rough.

Progress happens when you take that first step.

You can and you will honor your dreams.

It's a journey only you can take.

You have the power to do it because you've got the desire within you to inspire the world.

Waiting for tomorrow is too late; you may never get to see it.

The time is now to start chasing your dream.

Stop doing things that add no value to the world.

No matter where you are in life, you can do it.

And in the end, you'll have no regrets.
