We assume that those who have money are powerful. Movements in the money markets are driven by the twin dilemmas of fear and greed. No true power there. This trend filters down through the media. Financial fears are epidemic. Could there be a healthier, more powerful way of relating to the money in our pockets?
At Wealth School, we are growing wealth from the inside out. The power of love is within you. You have access to it at all times. The power of love is soft and yielding, not addictive and stressful. In loving, difficulties dissolve, harshness melts and conflicts merge into the harmony of agreement and one accord.
With love, we achieve our heart's dreams and desires because we have more energy to move forward in our chosen direction, and the openness to receive the guidance, support and results we seek.
Loving attitudes and actions conquer fear. How? With a loving attitude you are free from the negativity that can cause you to feel trapped and isolated. With loving actions, you can direct negative energy into fulfilling a positive purpose or objective. Have you ever found that going running, cleaning the windows or doing yoga can lift your spirits?
Here are six foundational keys to empower yourself toward a fuller, richer all-round experience of your life. Right now, you have:
Power to Value Yourself
Think about who or what you treasure most in your world: your child, a pet, your business or vocation, for example. Look at the value they have for you. Are you aware of your own innate value? Who are you, deep down? What are your unique qualities, strengths and personal assets? How can you fully love and appreciate yourself to recognize your own value?
Power to Invest in Yourself
Look at the care you give to you. Do you eat well, get enough sleep, take time to nurture and refresh your spirit? How can you invest your love, time and money to promote, create and allow your greater health and well-being? Listen to how the loving spirit within you guides you now toward a richer life.
Power to Say No to Addiction and Other Limiting Behavior
Say yes to what works well for you and no to what does not. Embrace what you truly love and let go of what no longer serves you. Love your sweet spirit and treat yourself to kindness, compassion and empathy. Be for yourself.
Power to Forgive
To be forgiving can become a healthful habit that leads you to appreciate the larger picture, purpose and meaning of your life. Start with forgiving yourself. Find the power of love to direct acceptance and understanding toward yourself.
Power to Be Grateful
Gratitude expands your awareness of the wealth you are and have to express. Start and end your day recalling at least five things you are grateful for: your home, your gifts and talents, your loved ones, the water you drink, the air you breathe, for example.
Power to Celebrate Your Successes
Remember the small daily successes. They are the building blocks to your larger dreams and objectives being fulfilled. Praise yourself for what you achieve, not out of ego but out of the genuine appreciation for your commitment and effort.
The power to love is in your own heart and hands. Your power to love dissolves fear, doubt and separation. With love, you have the power to transform how you experience your life in simple, practical ways. Each day, you can take one action to live more powerfully and fearlessly.
Your power to love can not only transform how you experience money, but also your capacity for achieving financial success. You will recognize more of your worth and have the courage to go for what you really want -- whether that is more money, fulfilling a heartfelt vocation, enjoying a happy marriage or making a contribution to the world.
In these challenging times, how have you found a way to live fearlessly? What are the strengths you have been discovering in yourself? I would love to know and learn from you. Please leave a comment below, or drop me a line at annenaylor@me.com.

Wealth School does not cost. The articles I write on HuffPost are given freely without charge.
There are now a number of Wealth School entries on my archive here. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/anne-naylor
They are intended to offer another look at wealth, how and where we can discover wealth beyond the material world that sometimes distracts us from the truth of who we are. The truth of who we are, as I see it, is love.
Wealth School is a way of opening the discussion on a new way of looking at wealth, less dependent upon our old ideas of what it means to enjoy a wealthy life.
Thank you for asking!
Joy and blessings to you,
Anne
In answering your question, I have found several ways to live fearlessly in these challenging times. Everything that you mention in your article is worth doing. I have also simplified my life, downsized
my home, decreased my expenses, I've learned to appreciate having fewer but better things.
I have fewer expenses, I select my activities, I live a simpler but more fulfilling life. Having fewer bills to pay is liberating.
Of course, health is the one factor we can only have partial control of but learning to be thankful for all the little things that make life worth living also counts into increasing the fearless feeling.
Your ways to live fearlessly are excellent. They speak to me of your claiming freedom to be more fully yourself.
Loving and joy to you,
Anne

Well, you've convinced me. Romney '12!
I'm just tuning in to your fine posts enroute back home today, pre-airport run. Anne, not only are your six keys truly sound, but your Spirit is like a gentle breeze blowing through the cobwebs of distractions and all that is really poverty thinking. Wealth is surely an inside job. One of my practices is to look around, outside, inside, and simply notice, with mindfulness, what is present. For instance, the sun is shining, the coral gerber daisy sits in a plum lotus bowl before me, chilled mint water is in a glass, my sister sits alongside me on her laptop, the cat, Lady Jane purrs softly before the door, where sunlight is pouring through, and this is just a dab os what is wealth for me, right here, right now. Outside there is a flag waving for this holiday, and i recall the many, many soldiers that I met during another chapter in my life long ago, and am so grateful for the miracle of their lives and courage. My cup runneth over.
And, dear one, my cup runneth over for you! See you 6/6
Cara
Your voice is always so welcome. I catch your cup runneth over - as it always does so fully!
I love your description of wealth as an inside job beyond the outer distractions. The inner is our perception of the tremendous gifts in and around us, waiting for us to value and appreciate them - those gifts both in ourselves and in others. We find them everywhere, simply for the looking and the willingness to see.
With the fullness of finding, there is no lack. We are very rich.
I look forward to seeing you back on 6/6!
Blessings and joy to you,
Anne
Grace and peace to you, always, all ways,
Annie

The ways are simple, are they not? It comes down to the "owning" and "doing" as you so rightly say!
Blessings of joy to you,
Anne
Beautiful post! One of your best, I think. What comes through especially in your writing is your own fearlessness married to passion and commitment. I love your ideas about the true wealth that lies within and the soft power of love and honoring one's self.
My own "prescription" for living fearlessly is quite simple: it lies in the 6 keys you've outlined here, but basically boils down to having trust and faith in my own soul to guide me through each moment, no matter what is coming down the pike. The challenge is to stay grounded in this faith and that's the work. It certainly helps to have a community of kindred spirits such as we find here to remind and support us when we waver.
As always, dear Anne, thank you so much for your loving and gentle presence. I feel richer for this connection.
Blessings,
Judith
Thank you so much for your kind words. Your comment means a lot to me.
I love your work as you describe it: "having trust and faith in my own soul to guide me through each moment, no matter what is coming down the pike. The challenge is to stay grounded in this faith and that's the work."
It so echoes my own sense of things. And yes, we do benefit so much from the reminders we receive at the Well and the Cafe, among other places!
Many rich blessings to you and love,
Anne
