A custom-made tapestry of the Bay of Naples dominates the master suite of designer Allegra Hicks's penthouse in the Italian city. The bed, featuring a headboard and bed skirt fashioned from fabric found at Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, is dressed with an ikat pillow by the Rug Company, a coverlet made from vintage toile de Jouy, and a cashmere throw by Loro Piana.
Inside a historic Brooklyn brownstone reimagined by Nick Olsen, two of the homeowners' children share a room lined with a Sandberg wallpaper from Stark; the Fine Arts Furniture trundle beds are dressed with RH bedding.
A Joan Mitchell painting presides over the master bedroom of a Houston home decorated by Elissa Cullman. Her firm, Cullman & Kravis, designed the bed and bench, both of which are upholstered in a Kravet fabric. The curtains are of a Lee Jofa silk, the bed linens are by Matouk, the side table is circa-1920 Jansen, and the rug is by Beauvais Carpets.
A Manuel Canovas fabric swathes the master bedroom of Patricia Altschul's spectacular 1850s South Carolina mansion, which was decorated by Mario Buatta. A Donald Roller Wilson painting is displayed above a 19th-century chinoiserie étagère from Philip Colleck.

The periwinkle upholstered headboard, curtains, and carpeting lend a cozy and peaceful air to the master bedroom of a Manhattan apartment devised by Bruce Bierman; the 17th-century portrait is by Willem van der Vliet.
At the New York townhouse of Marc Jacobs executive Robert Duffy, the nanny's room is furnished with an American four-poster; the curtain and canopy fabric is by Brunschwig & Fils, and the walls are covered in a Fromental silk wallpaper. Interior designer Richard McGeehan decorated the home.
At Arie and Coco Kopelman's Nantucket home, the master bedroom's headboard, chair, and ottoman are clad in a Travers print; the carpeting is by Stark. The residence was furnished by Nantucket House Antiques and Interior Design Studios.
