Who says kids can't appreciate high style? In the playroom of decorator Laura Santos's Manhattan home, the children's chairs are by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, the sofa is by Ligne Roset, the teak cabinetry is by Poliform, and the curtains and pillows are made of a Clarence House fabric.

Patricia and Carolina Lansing play Ping-Pong in the large room of the boathouse at the family's Maine getaway. Playful furniture made from reused tires is arranged in front of a large window with views of the dock house and the water. The white walls provide a backdrop for an assortment of Maine treasures, including buoys and vintage moorings.

In adman Donny Deutsch's Manhattan townhouse, the playroom has a Ron Arad for Moroso sofa and chairs, cupcake seats by Jellio, and a smiling Takashi Murakami cloud; the painting in the niche is by David Deutsch, Donny's father, and the cowhide rug is from Patterson, Flynn & Martin.
