Election 2008

We're going with the rumor: Sarah Palin is not Trig's mother

Sarah Palin looks amazing for four months after her fifth kid. A little TOO amazing.

A day after Sarah Palin made us believe we could grow up to be president if this comedy writing thing doesn't pan out, we stumble across the greatest rumor since Hillary Clinton is a lesbian- Sarah's 4 month old son, Trig, is actually her grandson. Trig's real mom, suggests the internet underbelly, is Sarah's teenage daughter, Bristol.

"Comments from the left field" points out that Sarah never looked pregnant, and Bristol was taken out of school for 4 or 5 months because she got "mono," an illness we remember from a Brady Bunch episode. (Someone double check with Michelle Obama.)

Would a 44-year-old woman with four kids out of diapers, embarking on her first governorship, really get pregnant? Or would a 17-year-old, living in a small Alaska town with conservative parents who didn't tell her about condoms, starting fooling around and accidentally get knocked up?

We hope it's not true, for little Trig's sake. But we also hoped John Edwards would never cheat on awesome Elizabeth with that toad Rielle. Sometimes politics is stranger than fiction. Frances Quinn Hunter and Trig Palin, America demands a day of bi-partisan paternity tests.

I must start by saying "I am proud to be an American." But I must add some words to this statement. I am proud to be an American that thinks for himself. I am a 56 year old that has noticed a trend in America over the past years of people letting the media tell them what to think. If this country is to stay strong and prosper it is up to us all to do our part in finding the truth on the issues of this great nation. From my own research on this election I can see America grow or fall by our choice. If you are an American that thinks for yourself, I don"t have to tell you which candidate is which. I see this election opening many eyes in this country on the need for self thinking. Especially with the posting of many articles such as the one above and the neglect of asking the questions that should be asked and researched on both sides. This is causing me to see and hear REAL PEOPLE talk with each other over the coverage of this election. This is going to be a real wakeup call in America and help this country prosper. For the ones out for their own personal selfish gains, I see a rude awakening coming! This election should be on what is best for our country and the future of our children and grandchildren.

Look at video of Bristol and Sarah Palin at the RNC convention. Which one looks like she's currently built for breastfeeding?

(1 pillow under the shirt + 1 lie) รท 60 days to election = Vice President Palin

In order to stop the rumors about Bristol being the true mother for Trig, Sarah Palin announced that her daughter was pregnant. Why would she bring her daughter into this mess?

All she had to do was produce one photo of her showing she was pregnant. Surely any family has these types of photos during this joyous event: a group photo at the hospital, a photo of Mom and Dad getting into the car, anything.

She has shown that she was willing to reveal private information of her daughter but surely a simple photo would have been more appropriate and tasteful.

I think Sarah Palin was the inappropriate one for revealing her daughters pregnancy. It wasn"t our business until she made it our business.

By the way, admitting that the daughter is pregnant doesn"t make it true.

The governor's daughter got into a fender bender that showed up on police reports. There are many reasons I have for disliking the governor. Don't get me wrong. I don't think she's doing a bad job. Well, I mean, it could be worse. I do, however, find her personality deplorable. Something about her speech patterns and suburban soccer mom persona just grates on my nerves. But none of my beefs with her as a person are more superficial or more heartfelt than my hatred for how she named her kids. She has four. Bristol, Piper, Track and Willow:

Wasilla Police Department
On February 8, 2008, at 1737 hours, Wasilla Police responded to two vehicle collision at Seward Meridian Parkway and Fireweed Drive . Investigation revealed that Bristol Palin, age 17 of Wasilla, was driving a 4-door sedan and attempted to turn into a business when she struck a 2-door sedan driven by Joshua Moffet, age 19, of Wasilla. Palin was issued a citation for Failing to Use Due Care to Avoid a Collision. Moffet was issued a citation for an expired registration and no proof of insurance.

Bristol Was Clearly Pregnant. Have you seen the pictures? The "Baby bump" is more than clear in those pics of the family and I have yet to see a recent picture of Sarah Palin where she looks pregnant.

Finally this has been debunked. I am just glad, for once, that a horrible rumor proved to be false. After the disappointment with Edwards, I also tend now to "go with the rumor".

It's debunked only if you believe that the girl is pregnant and got pregnant before Trig was born. Both claims rest on Palin's shaky credibility.

I might have been willing to accept it, but I can't understand why a woman who was as big as a minibus 19 years ago did not look at all pregnant last spring.

Ok...so she's a grandma...and what am I supposed to do? Vote for Obama and enjoy his socialism and higher taxes because her 16 year old screwed up? Sorry...McCain and Palin are still the lesser evil...and I'm voting for a 3rd party candidate

Trig Paxson Van Palin. This family has a history of naming its kids after events and places. There are many Paxson listings in Anchorage where Bristol Palin attended highschool. You can even find a Van or two listed. Does anyone know whether Bristol Palin was enrolled in "trig" while attending highschool (yes, I know all about the Norse "courage" and "truth" thing...we're so eager for courage and truth). If she was, were there any likely young men in attendance?

Every family has a secret, or hyper-sensitive issue where its members forma pact of confidentiality. My view (as a liberal) is that these family secrets should be respected so long as its continuation of secrecy does not bring further harm to the health and well being of the family structure or its members. Family abuse should not be a secret unless the members recognize such abuse at its earliest stage and actively seek professional help to ensure that continued abuses do not occur. A family that is connected to a support group, like a church, may be less likely to carry a secret if they feel confident that acknowledgement of their personal issue will be handled in a loving and caring manner.

As we have seen most recently through the revelation of the John Edwards affair, public sunshine can expose dark secrets and create specter and outcry and back-lash. It is unfortunate when a person who has a good and strong history of public service and can contribute to the improvement and betterment of people and society is publicly denounced for a personal/family secret.

The media will expose any secret that Sarah Palin's family has attempted to hide. If exposed, there will be shame, humiliation and public ostracizing of a 20 year old family who has bonded to protect itself while trying to make a positive difference in the world. Judgment will rest on the original decision of how the family decided to manage a very personal situation. The Palin's are in my thoughts and prayers throughout this difficult journey. Please keep them in yours.

This theory would explain a bizzare episode in the Palin pregnancy: allegedly, her water broke in Texas and she flew to Alaska for the birth, without notifying the airline. http://startelegram.typepad.com/politex/2008/04/more-on-that-al.html

This seemed really risky and unwise when I heard it last week. But if Bristol was at home and her water broke while mom was in TX, it makes sense in terms of maintaining a cover story.

replying to Dogger; posted 12:57 pm on 08/31/2008
You would never go on an 11 hour flight (with a stopover!) after your water breaks, especially if you are carrying a special needs child. That kind of risk threatens the life of the baby, which is odd for a pro-life candidate.

Didn't they use that plot line on "Desperate Housewives" this past season? With Bree, the prissy gun-toting, Christian Republican?

Yancy, my theory is that Bristol was dating a guy named either Van or Paxson, or both, whom she met in her trig class at HS. What fun if it's true!
(You know they name "Track" Track because the family so loves...well...track.)

"SEVEN MONTHS ALONG: Even her staff was unaware that the first family was expecting a fifth child."

"That the pregnancy is so advanced astonished all who heard the news. The governor, a runner who's always been trim, simply doesn't look pregnant."

You know what pisses me off the most???? I myself was 41 and pregnant while a student in seminary. This was only my 4th child...but I was also divorced and the daddy was another seminary student (single, thank you Jesus). I was a heck of a lot taller than Sarah Palin and had a long enough torso to actually hide that little monkey with carefully selected jackets right up til the day he was born, a big ole 8" pound boy. Well, it is true that my field-ed minister threw my ass out when I showed up the next Sunday with my newborn in a carrying seat and announced that this cherub was mine. I guess it does help if can get your mom to claim the errors of your ways.
Anyway, my fifth child (the child of that same seminary student whom I did marry...kind of like a superannuated Jamie Lynn Spears) had me as big as a freaking barn from about the second month.
No, I don't think Sarah Palin had Trig. As I said above, I think Bristol was dating someone named Van Paxson whom she met in trig class. There are many Paxsons in Anchorage where she attended highschool.

You can't make this stuff up. She is SOOOO Christian that she lies about herself, her daughter, her family, ruins the Republican party for years, and makes John McCain look like a TOTAL FOOL!

WAY TO WIN!
