President Bush thinks wiretapping Americans without a warrant is vital to keeping our country safe and secure. But when it comes to a clear and present threat to our national security -- China and Russia racing to take over the world's energy supply -- he doesn't seem too worried. The world is running out of gas, China and Russia are vying to control what's left of it, and all Bush can come up with is drilling in ANWR. Maybe he's blinded to what's going on -- unable to see around the giant Saudi teat he's sucking on.

But, hey, why worry? While our leaders are busy spying on their own people, all these other little problems will probably work themselves out on their own.
